pruning - taking control of the tree’s
growth at an early stage in its development reducing the need for
heavy pruning in the future.
Pollarding
- maintaining / reducing a tree to a specified height.
Shaping
- a combination of pruning activities to give an overall better
looking shape.
Reducing
- reducing the overall size of the trees canopy.
Thinning
- for when the crown has become congested with branches, blocking
light out for other plants or property, selectively removing.
Lifting
- removal of lower branches at base of tree that are either being a
nuisance, to increase light or to enhance its shape.
Crown cleaning
- the removal of dead wood to avoid any unacceptable risk of
personal injury or other damage below (public / property).
Hedge
Maintenance - Overgrown Hedge Shaping, Hedge

Stump
removal - removal of the stump to below ground
level in order to make the site available for replanting or
alternative use.

Waste materials
- Felling and surgery are basically only half the operation,
disposing of the timber and brash is also a big operation. We aim to
recycle 100% of all our waste and where possible convert this waste
into useful products that can be
of benefit to the local community. Compost, firewood, wood chips,
furniture, sculptures, garden structures, etc

professionally trained or both. Therefore you can be certain that
